Civil Aviation Statistics for Year 2000 Show Decrease in
Accidents but Increase in Fatalities (NTSB)

These statistics show how much air cargo is
now being loaded onto commercial airliners. We must make
sure cargo is loaded properly for now it also affects many
more people than an air cargo plane. Unfortunately,
people do not realize how much air cargo is flown every
day. This phase of aviation must be taken more
seriously; people's lives depend on it! Please make
yourselves heard about the air cargo industry. Write
your congressmen and representatives; let your voices be heard
for the air cargo industry. We need your help!

The No Phase-Out Decision - Traffic World,
Jan. 2001
The American public does not realize that the air cargo
industry uses the oldest planes, which are converted
commercial airliners and used much longer in terms of years,
not cycle time. There is no agreement as to how to phase
out the older aircraft that don't meet the new
standards. This is a noise pollutant added to already
busy and noisy airports.
