SPECIAL UPDATE
- Letter from the Department of Justice
- Audrey Ulozas response letter to Judge Lenard regarding Fine/Arrow Air fine payments and restitution

This web site is dedicated to the memory of five beloved men who died as a result of negligence and greed in the crash of Fine Air flight 101 on August 7th. 1997.

First Officer: Steven Petrosky
Captain: Pat Thompson
Flight Engineer: Glen Millington
Security Guard: Enrique Soto
Civilian: Renato Alvarez

If safety were the operational byword of the U.S. air cargo industry, these men would still be with us today.  We, the families of the crew cannot rest until the air cargo industry is forced to adhere to the safety regulations that put human life above profit.   This requires increased regulation of the air cargo industry and tighter enforcement of safety procedures by the FAA.   We vow to help in any way we can to ensure that a tragedy like this never happens again.

The vision of the crew was to fly and be the best they could be.  Eventually they hoped to become commercial airline pilots.  In spite of their personal desires and the conditions they were forced to work in. they never compromised the safety of any human life.  We believe God chose this crew to "wake up" the airline industry and the American public to the danger which flies over our homes and businesses every day.   It is time for things to change. I truly believe this was, and still is, the mission of the men who died in the crash of Fine Air 101.  We believe it is our mission as well.

Unfortunately, on February 17, 2000, another air cargo plane crashed.  It was Emery Worldwide flight 17, another DC-8 plane crash caused by a problem with the plane's horizontal stabilizer, or elevator.   This time, the price for negligence was three men lives: Captain Kevin Stables, First Officer George Land and Second Officer Russell Hicks.

This web site, we believe, will help to make the American public and the aviation industry aware of the severe problems that are plaguing this area of the aviation industry.   Remember that these planes fly over our heads every minute of everyday!  It is only by the grace of God one of them has not crashed into a populated area.  We want to keep it that way.
